I took over a team last season in August that the original owner abandoned after already doing the rookie draft and auction. He was at the cap limit of $200 already and had no maneuvering room for free agent pickups so all I could do was essentially turn in a lineup every week. I couldn't even pick up replacements for bye-weeks, hence, the #1 pick this season.
